Egypt condemns attack on NAUC in Kabul

Egypt has condemned a deadly terror attack on Monday that targeted the
National Afghan Ulema Council (NAUC) in Kabul, killing 14 and injuring 20
others.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement Tuesday that Egypt -- the
government and people -- is standing by Afghanistan in fighting terrorism. The
attack came after the NAUC issued a fatwa (an edict based on Shariah) banning
suicide attacks.
