11 killed in car bomb blast in Syria's Afrin

At least 11 people were
killed in a booby-trapped car explosion that rocked Syria's northern rebel-held
Afrin city, Sputnik news agency quoted activists as saying Thursday.
According to sources with
the Free Syrian Army that controls the city of Afrin, the blast occurred near
the Turanda highway, killing 11 people, including children, and injuring
others.
Police have reportedly
blamed militants from the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) for the
incident.
